Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture is relatively painless when done by a licensed practitioner, in fact many patients find it very relaxing and would fall asleep during treatment.

How long is an acupuncture session?

A follow up acupuncture session typically lasts about 20 to 30 minutes. If you’re a new patient, you can expect your first appointment to be between 45 to 60 minutes.

What do I need to know for my first acupuncture appointment?

Your first appointment includes an initial consultation which takes about 15 to 20 minutes and we allow additional time for you to receive your first treatment after consultation.

How should I prepare for my acupuncture treatment?

It is recommended to eat a light meal prior to your treatment. Please wear loose-fitted comfortable clothing so that the practitioner would be able to access various acupuncture points on the body.

Is acupuncture covered by my insurance?

Lim Acupuncture Clinic is not contracted with any insurance companies; however, we do provide superbills for those with out-of-network acupuncture benefits. Once you submit the superbills, your insurance companies will reimburse you directly based on your policy coverage. We do accept HSA and FSA payments.

Acupuncturist

We are looking for an Acupuncturist to see patients in both of our clinic locations: Centennial and Castle Rock, Colorado.

Do you love being an Acupuncturist and enjoy seeing results from treating patients with chronic and complex conditions? We treat women’s health, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and facial issues. We also offer cosmetic acupuncture, microneedling, and injection therapy. We are rapidly growing and are in search of our next Awesome Acupuncturist.

Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills with patients and staff. Must be able to treat 3-6 patients within an hour. Provide clear and concise new patient consultations outlining treatment plan, treatment progression and expected outcome. Ability to retain patients and meet monthly personal sales goals.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Acupuncture or TCM; Doctorate would be a plus
Colorado Acupuncturist License
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Excellent bedside manner
Attention to details and good organizational skills

Days we are looking for coverage: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

We don’t hire off keywords and will train the right candidate. You will be hired on as an employee of the clinic. We provide onsite training and also will pay for any necessary offsite training. Pay is commission-based per patient treated. Please send us your desired salary in your cover letter.
