Sarapin® treats pain by blocking pain signals at the spinal column without affecting other nerves. Does Sarapin® Injections hurt?

Sarapin® injections should not hurt when done properly by a qualified practitioner. Our patients have reported heaviness and/or tingling sensation upon injection.

How long is a Sarapin® Injection session?

A session typically lasts about 5 to 10 minutes.

Can I receive Sarapin® injection while taking other prescription medications?

Sarapin® does not interact with any type of medications allowing you to continue taking your previously prescribed medicine while receiving injections.

Can I combine Sarapin® injection with other treatments at the clinic?

Yes, you may combine acupuncture, dry needling, and/or cupping with Sarapin® injection during your appointment at our clinic.

How many Sarapin® injections will I need to treat my condition?

The number of Sarapin® injections required depend on many factors including pain type, acute or chronic, and severity of your condition. We require all new patients to schedule a consultation to discuss such factors and come up with an individualized care plan.

Generally, acute or new onset pain may only require a series of 3 injections. On the other hand, chronic pain or nerve type pain may require 2-3x per week injections for 4-6 weeks or until maximum result is achieved.

Is Sarapin® injection covered by my insurance?

Sarapin® injection may be covered by your insurance depending on your policy. Lim Acupuncture Clinic is not contracted with any insurance companies; however, we do provide superbills for those with out-of-network benefits. Once you submit the superbills, your insurance companies will reimburse you directly. We do accept HSA and FSA payments.
